”From the first time I met Dr. Patel and her staff, I was truly impressed. She’s down to professional, very personable, and informative. I had a labiaplasty and perineal repair done by another doctor. It wasn’t done properly and I was very distraught looking for a surgeon to help me and do a revision. During the procedure, I was awake and numb. I didn’t experience any pain at all and she spoke to me throughout the surgery as well as keep me comfortable and even smiling. After the surgery, I was brought into the recovery room where her staff was extremely friendly, caring, and professional. Dr. Patel checked on me too. The recovery wasn’t bad. I had some mild pain and swelling which was to be expected. I was surprised because the surgery I had with the previous surgeon was a painful recovery and much different overall. Dr. Patel also gave me her cell phone number to contact her if I needed to ask questions or had concerns during the healing process. This was very comforting as well.

Overall I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience, Dr. Patel as both a person and doctor, her staff, and everything overall. I’m very fortunate to be her patient and will continue to be.

Very straight forward in her approach with surgical questions, doesn't sugar coat anything, Yet she’s very pleasant and takes time to answer all you’re questions and explain everything she’s doing. Vaginoplasty surgery went well, I honestly didn’t feel hardly anything except little pinches. I felt very relaxed and safe, we actually talked and sang the whole time lol. ”I chose to book Dr. Patel for my labiaplasty after finding her on RealSelf. Before seeing Dr. Patel, I had two consultations with plastic surgeons who are in my area who had little to no experience in cosmetic gynecology. I have noticed many plastic surgeons and gynecologists offering labiaplasties due to the increase in demand for the surgery but many of these doctors end up taking more off than the patient wanted or leaving their patients with nerve damage. I was elated to find Dr. Patel due to her knowledge and experience with the procedure. ”After years of waiting I decided now was the time to do this once and for all. I researched several doctors in the NYC area and decided on Dr Patel after reading many glowing reviews and seeing before and after photos. My consult was virtual since I am about an hour and a half away from her office. She was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable about the whole process. After reviewing my photos she recommended I do the clitoral hood as well as the labiaplasty to keep the look consistent. I agreed and scheduled right away.

The procedure was super easy. A few pokes of the numbing and I didn’t feel a thing. She frequently asked how I was doing and her staff were also there to help with anything I needed. Once I was done I felt ready to get up and go right away. The photos she sent of the immediate result on the table were so good, even all stitched up I can tell the result is perfect and exactly what I wanted. The first night was probably the most difficult, I fell asleep without taking a pain pill just before so I woke up in the night in pain but it subsided quickly once I took some meds. Day 3 now I feel pretty good. A little sore but I’ve just been resting and keeping off my feet. Will update more as I heal!

”After a year since my vaginoplasty, I can't emphasize enough how it's been a game-changer for me. To clarify, I didn't opt for this surgery for cosmetic or intimacy reasons, as I identify as aro-ace (I don’t have sex, nor experience sexual attraction). My choice was driven by the need to address pelvic floor issues stemming from a traumatic childbirth and stage III endometriosis. Dr. Patel and their team were exceptional, making the preparation and surgery experience reassuring. However, the recovery phase was a tough journey, both physically and emotionally. While the surgery didn't directly resolve my symptoms, it paved the way for significant improvement through post-op pelvic floor therapy, which had been ineffective prior. Furthermore, if you've experienced sexual/medical trauma, I strongly recommend partnering with a trusted therapist before and after the surgery to ensure your mental well-being. Overall I would rate the surgery and Dr. Patel’s practice 10/10!

”From the moment I met Dr. Patel, I knew I was in good hands. Due to giving birth to three children (vaginal deliveries) the walls of my vagina were not what they once were. I didn't feel confident during sex. I felt that certain positions were painful. If I were to be on top, I didn't feel friction at all. It was as if the grip of my vagina didn't exist. I was constantly in pain during sex and it made it unpleasant having to constantly re-adjust. Let's not forget the embarrassment that came with sneezing and coughing. Every time I would sneeze or cough, even if I would try my hardest, I would trickle or pee myself a little. It was so annoying. I knew I had to find a solution. My search brought me to Dr. Patel's page.

During my initial visit, Dr. Patel eased all my worries. She answered all my questions and concerns. The staff was extremely polite and accommodating. The energy in the office was so welcoming and warm. Before my procedure, I was emailed all the information I needed for aftercare, and what to expect during recovery. On the day of the procedure, I decided to opt for the local anesthesia, fully awake but felt no pain. To be honest, Dr.Patel and I spoke the entire time. It was awesome! Recovery was difficult due to being such a sensitive area. But, Dr. Patel was there with me every step of the way. Whenever I had an concern, I could walk into the office and she would check me. I saw her twice before my actual post-op appointment to be completely honest, I waited ten weeks to have sex. I was super scared. But my man has no complaints. Now he's having trouble getting it in! My vagina is so tight! It's like it hugs the penis every time it goes in. This vagina has zero mileage! I absolutely love it !!!!!! I intend on going back to plump up my lips and give it a more youthful look.
